» Biography

My educational background includes a MA in Measurement and Evaluation in Education from Hacettepe University and a PhD in Measurement and Evaluation in Education from Ankara University. I have a B.A. in Primary School Education from Ankara University. My research mainly focuses on the analysis of large datasets (PISA, TIMSS, OBBS), and I utilize hierarchical linear models to explore factors affecting student achievement in secondary schools. Recently, I have been working on conducting multilevel meta-analyses using R and writing a book about value added assessment.
