I first started to music in 2000 with İzmir T.R.T. I started by joining the Polyphonic Western Music choir. Between 2002 and 2006, I took part in certain opera performances, oratorio and choir concerts as a chorister as a contracted guest artist at Izmir State Opera and Ballet. In this process, I worked on music theory and singing with Izmir State Opera and Ballet choir conductors H.J. Gallus, Ali Hodja and soloist artist Aydın Uştuk. At the same time, I worked as a chorist in TOBAV Chamber Choir and İzmir Art Polyphonic Choir.
In 2006, I was accepted to Afyon Kocatepe University State Conservatory Music Department Undergraduate Program. During the four-year education and training period, I took lessons on piano with Instructor Fakı Can Yuruk and on counterpoint, harmony and composition practices with Dr. Lecturer Yusuf Mirişli. During my music education, I presented my first productions with the interest and excitement I have in music sciences and especially in composition methods. In addition, I followed the trends and composition styles of the modern period and the postmodern period with interest, such as 20th and 21st century Serial Music, Polystyle, Spectral Music, Microtonal Music, Electronic Music, Random Music and Minimalism, and conducted research and studies.
After completing my undergraduate education, I received Pedagogical Formation training at Ege University Faculty of Education in 2010. During this period, I worked as a trainee teacher at Bornova Suphi Koyuncuoğlu Secondary School for the practical studies of the concept of "Reconstructivism in Music Education".
In 2013, I was appointed as a Research Assistant at Trakya University State Conservatory. In the 2016-2019 academic year, I completed my master's degree at Trakya University Social Sciences Institute Music Department by doing a thesis on composer Philip Glass in the context of my research on 20th and 21st century modern and contemporary music genres and styles. Since the 2016 academic year, I have been involved in the education of World Music Cultures, Music Culture and Gender, Music History and Literature (Pre-Baroque), Music Theory, Chamber Music, Piano Literature and Transcription at the undergraduate level.
I continue my artistic productions and my duty at the conservatory, together with my composition works covering various instrumental genres such as symphony, concerto, free forms and solo works, including my educational choir and piano works.
