» Biography
Çetinkaya Aydoğdu completed her primary and secondary education and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Social Studies Teaching from Ankara University Faculty of Educational Sciences in 2016. Between 2017 and 2019, she worked as a social studies teacher in a private institution. In 2019, she completed her master's degree at Erciyes University Institute of Educational Sciences in the field of Social Studies Education with a thesis titled "Teaching Social Studies Using the Creative Drama Method: An Action Research." In 2022, she started working as a research assistant in the Department of Social Studies Teaching at the Faculty of Education, Trakya University.
In 2024, she earned her doctoral degree at Anadolu University Institute of Educational Sciences in the field of Social Studies Education with a thesis titled "Art-Based Values Education in Social Studies: An Action Research." Çetinkaya Aydoğdu is particularly interested in social studies education, creative drama in education, art-based education, and values education. Additionally, she has published articles in various international peer-reviewed journals and presented papers at international scientific conferences.
Alongside her academic work, Çetinkaya Aydoğdu teaches various courses in the Social Studies Teaching program at the Faculty of Education, Trakya University. She is married and has one child.
