Bahar Hoşcan was born in Eskişehir. She began her music training at the Primary School of Anadolu University School of Music and Drama in 2002. She was a student of Assoc. Prof. Bülent Akdeniz. She graduated from the High School of Music and Drama of Anadolu University School of Music and Drama in 2009 and continued her violin training as an undergraduate student at the same institution. During these years she was selected as a member of Turkish National Youth Orchestra and participated in concerts given in Turkey and abroad in countries such as Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Macedonia, Greece, Bosnia, Romania and Azerbaijan. She, again, was selected as a member of Young Euro Classical Orchestra and partook in its concerts. She successfully participated in the Master Classes conducted by Dora Schwarzberg, Özcan Ulucan, Alexander Vinnitsky, Sevil Ulucan, Orhan Ahıskal, Sypros Gigontis and Mihail Gotsdiner. She completed her undergraduate work at Anadolu University School of Music and Drama in 2013. The same year, she was asked to be the young soloist at a concert performed by Eskişehir Municipality Symphony Orchestra. Bahar Hoşcan started her academic career as a graduate assistant at Trakya University State Conservatory in 2013. Since then she has been actively performing at Trakya University Balkan Symphony Orchestra, Trakya Ensemble Chamber Music Group and Crisantem Quartet Chamber Group. She is, successfully finished her doctorate Ph.D. with Prof. Ahmet Hamdi Zafer as her advisor.
