Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) is a wireless communication technology based on Visible Light Communication (VLC) in which data is transmitted through light-emitting diodes (Light Emitting Diode-LED). With the idea of using lighting systems for communication, studies in this field become widespread. In order to provide high-speed data transfer and sufficient illumination for the room, Teaching Learning Based Optimization (TLBO) algorithm is used to select communication LEDs (C-LEDs), in the study. On-Off Keying (OOK) modulation technique is used in the designed communication model. Basic examinations are carried out by considering the delay of the LED lights and reflective access of the LED lights to the receiver. In the study, for the first time, the TLBO algorithm is used for C-LED selection, and SNR quality is increased by reducing the Intersymbol Interference (ISI) caused by the signals reaching the receiver due to reflections and delays. By appling the TLBO algorithm to the system, uninterrupted and high-quality communication at a data rate of 1Gbit / s is achieved.
